How a wall cladding installation actually flows
- Free site visit — measure walls, check substrate flatness, identify MEP routing, agree material.
- Written scope and quote — area, material, fixings, joint design, MEP coordination, finishing.
- MEP first — cabling, power, AV runs, access panel locations finalised and tested.
- Substrate prep — flatness correction (skim, batten frame, or build-out), moisture check on exterior.
- Layout setup — pattern centred, joint lines pre-marked, edge details planned.
- Fixing — adhesive, mechanical fix, secret fixing, or rainscreen system per material.
- Joint and edge finishing — mitres, scribed edges, silicone or trim where required.
- Snagging and protection — every panel inspected, edges protected through other trades.
